Eric, how's the caravan plan working out?? We might join up with y'all...It was fun running up to Danville last wk...The miles just ticked off so fast & then we were there...Let us know...klb

Lol yea it's not a half day drive this week. Have fun all. Let me know how many people caravaned up from Charlotte. Four of us went... Licursi, Eric, Karen, and me. Triad really knocked it out of the park again. 4 run groups went through in a HURRY! We actually managed to maintain heat in the tires!

Haha, waiver Andy. Thanks Mike, I was happy with my driving today, unlike at ZMax. Good to see the CCR guys representing our club well. Great event today, and with the exception of a homeless guy wandering on course during group 2, no "exciting" delays that I noticed.

CCR was well represented it appears. Thank you to those that went and congrats on doing so well.
New King of Tire?! Was Gunny up there? This could be interesting to watch this season, as it usually is.

Great event today, and with the exception of a homeless guy wandering on course during group 2, no "exciting" delays that I noticed. Well... during group 1, a guy got SO lost on course that he coming down the hill pointed dead straight at work station 2 sending workers scrambling. I was on the other side of the island/tree from him and I even had a minor heart attack from it. And Van saved us a LOT of pushing when the CRX died on course and he almost immediately spotted it was because the ground cable had popped loose from the battery terminal. He got it in, got the guy re-fired, and I was thankful we didn't have to push him uphill from our work station back to the paddock. HOORAY! That was actually the only delay I remember.

My money is on Duck to lump both CCR and Triads Tire classes this year. But no pressure Steve.

Oh... of course... no pressure at all I did some math based on the results and I would have lost to Mini Feeney by about 0.2 seconds had he still been running THS. That's who I was REALLY wanting to run against, but I forgot he made the move to STF this year!

Mini Feeney was still DS legal AFAIK , just a new bar on the rear . He might have had the new Wheels on there but I didnt think so . I think his plan is a new add on per event to keep them guessing .

He's in a "justacooper" so it's HS... and I think I remember hearing Sean or Matt say he currently only has the rear bar so... yeah... still Stock legal. I think Sienkiewicz has the same upgrade path... though based on his performance this weekend and at the T&T I don't know that further upgrades are necessary ;D
