It is two days after the February meeting, so as discussed, here is the info for our monthly meeting for March.
WHEN: Wednesday March 28. 6:30 till.
WHERE: Mimi's Cafe. 10224 Perimeter Parkway. Charlotte,NC
This is the one just off Vanessa Harris Blvd, er, W.T. Harris Blvd. At the I-77 intersection.
WHY: Meet with friends and meet new people. This is an ideal time for "guests" on the site to meet avatars as real people. Mimi's has agreed to let us use their meeting room called "The Winery". Mimi's is requesting an approximate head count, so please let me know if you think you will be attending. Please support our club with your presence.
DISCUSSIONS: Ideal starting time for future meetings. Smack talk for Auto-X. Looking for permanent meeting spot and time, any suggestions are appreciated.

Meeting is just a week away. Please join in. We have been "floating" the meetings 'till we find a good spot and date that suits as many as possible.
Please sign in so i can give Mimi's a guesstimate. Last meeting drew 16 people. Hope for better this time( numbers, not people).

Sorry James. Just noticed the meeting was on Wed, we have High School youth with our church on Wed nights so maybe will try to come if not on Wed nights.

Yea, Wednesday's don't work for me either. Anna has choir practice so I need to stay home to put Jasmine to bed on time. Any chance we can move these to Tuesday or Thursday's in the future?

Yea, Wednesday's don't work for me either. Anna has choir practice so I need to stay home to put Jasmine to bed on time. Any chance we can move these to Tuesday or Thursday's in the future? Don't want to speak officially for James, but I do recall him saying that we'll probably settle on Tuesdays in the future. There was some reason he chose a Wednesday for this one, and it's likely the reason you won't get a response from him in the next few hours  |

We liked Mimi's much better than Hickory Tavern for several reasons. Tuesdays or Wed work for me. Hope for a better turn out on a different night next time. Thanks for heading this up, Soloracer.

As a suggestion of a place where we would have the monthly social:
My work does a lot of catering and group outings. It's called Sports Connection and we have 7 'party rooms' that on the weekend are used for birthday parties and during the week they are used for all kinds of meeting and corporate outings. Pretty sure we have pull down screen available as well for projector displays if needed. I work in the kitchen and we have a vast catering menu as well as large selection of items to order individually. My boss handles all the group outing like this would be so I can put you in contact with her if needed. In addition to food and meeting rooms we also have laser tag, bowling, and arcade games for people to kick back and relax on as part of the social. It's located in South Carlotte on Ardrey Kell Road just sout of Ballantyne Area. Can be set up to done as a monthly event as we have multiple companies that do that.
