Inspite of rain and thunderstorms, the LeMons race is going strong at CMP this weekend. I am driving for Team Road Kill Grill Racing... a Honda Hatch with a GIANT RAT SAMMICH on top! Unfortunately, our rat lost one of the two coconuts attached in back... so we have renamed him "Lance". Our RKG Team Motto is "Foods more fun when it's hit on the run!" The rat was assembled in my garage over the last month... and it is holding up BEAUTIFULLY. At end of Day 1, we are 4th in class and 14th overall out of a field of 100+. Three lessons learned today : 1. FWD Hondas don't handle like the Jedi or Elvira... but it's FUN THOUGH! 2. Trail braking makes the suspension of this front wheel drive car really fun. 3. Two hour driving stints are like a two hour massage. IT feels good, you start off really liking it... and soon discover you don't want to do something that feels good for that long. Wish us luck tomorrow and come on down to CMP! Thanks, Ted Attachments:

I never see any heads up of this event. I want to see it sometime.
Glad your having fun Ted. Trail Braking an FWD is amazing? Borderline frisbee action.

We finished the weekend with a 3rd in class and 12th overall out of 100+ car field! Not Too BAD!
Had a blast and took a lot of pics. I'm headed to Robbinsville tomorrow to work on hillclimb planning. I'll try to post up some pics tuesday!
