Are brothers to the west are hosting a charity event at Bristol Motor Speedway. They will be having a autox and then after you will be able to take your car on the drag strip. Checked out their website & it appears we are assuming 1/4 mi, & that would be great for my car..But it could be 1/8 or 1000 ft or {as happened to me one x} 0-60-0..That was an absolute blast!! This would be a BIG day & a Long drive from Charlotte, but for Auto-x & Drag racing in 1 day, well, that's enough to get us wanting to lay down a few miles..Rod isn't sure he can go yet, so there might be a co-drive spot in my MS3..Good Auto-x car, mods for the strip..Little wheel hop, & top end that goes on 4ever..Can't wait to hear more..Had trouble logging in to their website..They asked some question about the nickname for Tn?  ???KLB |

That would be great..If Rod is coming we'll be going up Sat also..If I'm alone, I'll have to join a lil' convoy early Sun AM..31 yrs married & agreements, ya know..He doesn't care if I go off & have an adventure, as long as there are folks that know where I am & come home to him @ night..Small price..Wouldn't have it any other way..KLB

We are going to have to pass on this event.. Is there a way we can make a donation?? Rod has to work & it is just too long a day for me to drive & compete alone.. We were hoping to camp out @ one of the sites close to Bristol speedway.. The MS3 has 5'10" in back for sleeping & that was one of the deciding factors when we bought it, and the comfy hwy ride, and, well, ZOOM..Sorry to miss out, next time , maybe..KLB
