Terrible to see this while randomly cruising the internet. I have been told that this is from last weekend's world time attack event at Road Atlanta. I have no further details.

Fast car but the wreck lap had a few opportunities before the actual wreck. Looked like driver fatigue had set in because he was missing a lot of apexes on that lap.

As soon as through the black flag, we didn't know for what at the time, it started rain 3 turns away. The thought is possibly had started raining in that area briefly before. 3 other cars had offs during this run group(Day 2 Run 2). They still did a hell of a job driving 2nd in class and I believe ended up in Top 10 overall.

... and I'm betting he'd gladly trade his trophy to be able to take his car home in one piece. That's racing...

Wet corner would explain the incident. I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Kevin yet. He was very shaken up after the incident, but the driver is well. Everyone is in high hopes that the car can be saved.

Sad to see the car in this shape. Glad Kevin got out of it all good thought. Few scrapes and bruises could have been a lot worse. I remember seeing this car for the first time when I started auto-crossing at Knights. Pretty much a stock G35 with some small things here and there. And watching his build as it went along. R.I.P. G. Knowing Keving he'll be back in the game soon enough.
