With only 5 days to go until the Memorial Monster club race (and only 1 until online registration closes), we currently only have 10 people signed up to work Flagging & Communication for the race. WE NEED WORKERS!!
So here's the deal....

You'll need to wear a white long sleeve 100% cotton shirt and blue jeans (though white painters pants are preferable if you have them)
The club will take care of a hotel room or gas allowance if you're close enough that you don't need a hotel.
Lunch will be provided, and there will be an official social on Saturday night with beer, burgers, and hot dogs provided. There will be an unofficial social on Sunday night for anybody staying for the AutoX on Monday (and since I'm posting this in the AutoX forum, I imagine that might be a few). BYOB for that one, but we're going to figure out who has a grill we can cook on and probably do burgers & hot dogs again.
Added bonus: Flag enough races and you get discounts on your yearly membership. I did 8 race days last year and when I got my renewal letter Friday, I had a $30 discount for it. Get enough experience and you'll be eligible to work events like the Rolex 24, Le Mans, and F1 races. There are a few locals who are headed to Le Mans in a few weeks and are waiting to hear back from the FIA about their applications to work the F1 race in Austin.
No experience is required and you'll get plenty of on-the-job training. All you need is to love racing, though strong sarcasm skills are also helpful.
(Yes I realize this really shouldn't be in the AutoX forum, but I'm trying to recruit some AutoXers that are planning on spending at least a portion of the Memorial Day weekend at CMP anyway)
