I took the BRZ for a single run. 54.2 with 235 starspecs. It had a 53 in it with some tire pressure adjustment.

Can we just forget this event even happened? Not a good day. Although I was thinking of creating a new sport. The rally cross combined with autocross. I'll be picking dust and rocks out my car for a week!

Fun course, but not one of my better performances.

Michelin is a tricky site. It enjoys punishing those that overdrive. I think I missed on my setup and I don't like to run l In the day heat there. It was nice to have the car loose for a change. Thank you Kuhn for posting the link. I gave the computers to Rich before I received the event files, oops.

You can say that again! I was very upset in how my car was pushing horribly until I realized it was me overdriving it.
On a more mushy note. I like to thank you AJ for remembering the small things. What I mean by that is, when you were announcing and I crossed the line, you read out my time and car, you said something along the lines like, "different from the camaro he used to drive".
That definitely means a lot to us newbies and makes us feel welcomed/ noticed especially considering this is my first full season this year and I have never even introduced myself. So again, not to be mushy, but thanks!

AJ seems to keep on top of what people are doing.

I can agree to that toliet. CCR as a whole has been very receptive to new blood coming in and leading advice and guidance where needed. It makes you appriciate it more when you go to other clubs where that isn't the case.

Thank you guys!! That put a HUGE smile on my face. I very much enjoy learning about those that participate in our events frequently. Dealing with workers has made it easier for me to remember names to faces to cars. Amazing how something so small can mean something so big. I greatly enjoy announcing, especially for PRO class. I'm told that I'm good at it, and that is the type of comment that clarifies as to why people say that. Thank you for joining our sport and keep coming out to have FUN with us.

This is the main reason why we lead the region in new memberships and member retention. I like to say Autocross is a social event masquerading as a motorsports event. Get to know the people around you. Myself, I can't remember names for nothing, but it's easy to say hi and ask 'em if they are having fun. Even if you aren't in the "core group" you can probably answer 75% of peoples questions. Thank the noob's for coming out!
