Jeff, most folk that run with them up are doing so for the perceived aero advantage Don't know how many of you have taken windows out of a car, but let me tell you glass is heavy! Which begs the question - is it a greater advantage to run with the windows up and gain aero or down and gain a lower CG? Or, would the gains cancel each other out? Maybe that's the real reason the rules won't let us run them halfway down because then we would gain aero and lower CG! We would have national drivers wind tunnel and chassis dyno testing their cars to tune the perfect spot for their windows. I say all of this in complete sarcasm. The above questions are retorical. Personally I run with my driver's and pass's windows down to make getting out or someone getting me out easier/quicker in case of: 1) off track excusion - 2) rollover - 3) fire - 4) carbon monoxide - 5) wildlife strike -

Jeff, most folk that run with them up are doing so for the perceived aero advantage I understand that part of it Walter, I'm questioning how it's gonna keep your arms inside in the event of a rollover when it's gonna shatter into a million pieces when ya flip it.
