Best run event Ive been to all year for ccr/scr, no crazy re-runs, no big timing issues, smooth, almost relaxing. Big thanks to the core CCR workers. Great work today

Glad the rain held off for you guys. It was pouring at my house around 3 and I was hoping it was clear your way for the last run group/fun runs. Hate I was down for this one, but thanks to the time spent away on Saturday I should be back next week. Looking forward to seeing results!

Great event, folks. Thanks for hosting it and letting me and my 83 year old dad compete. He is still fast. I hope I can walk at 83.

Awesome event as always. And was it just me or did we seem to get through the damn pretty damn quick? Seemed like to me that their were few timing hiccups and that any problems that arose we handled promptly and thoroughly. Wish i could have stayed for fun runs, but had to work and autocross doesn't pay for itself. Glad everyone had a good time as well!

Was great to see him out there.

That must have been during the John Byrd announcement time... JB's a riot on the mic!! "Fun fact, Jon Krolewicz's hometown of Pontiac, SC along with Delco, NC are the last two cities in the US named for GM products after the town of Fiero, VA burned to the ground in the 1890s." JB dropped that one right as I was rolling to the line for my run, and I couldn't compose myself enough to drive Even Jinx said "I don't know how you're gonna drive after that."

Yes, I agree John Bryd is an excellent announcer! However, the following is a bit of auto history to help clarify John's humorous observation:
Pontiac wagons and early autos were in fact named after, and produced in Pontiac, Michigan (located just North of Detroit) beginning in the early 1900's. Another early auto producer and competitor, Oakland, was in business at the same time in Oakland County, Michigan of which Pontiac was and still is, the County's seat. Later, the Pontiac and Oakland Companies merged with General Motors subsequently acquiring both operations. The surviving Pontiac Division of GM remained based in Pontiac, MI until the late 80's and early 90's when all GM Divisions were united and moved to the RenCenter in downtown Detroit. Also, Fieros were in fact assembled at a plant in Pontiac.

I was working the course when he drove and he was whipping that Si all over the course I'm glad you got to meet him. Everything that he knows, he learned... from his mother. Now she's fast. And so is he.
