WHEN: tuesday august 14 6:30.
WHERE:The Flying Saucer
WHY:everyone semed to like the Saucer, and it was our best turnout so far.
DISCUSSIONS: The charlotte road race is the weekend following this meeting. It is also a great time to recap the zMAX autocross. I would like to invite anyone associated with the race to show up and join in.

I would like to add, unlike the Tavern, there is no gratuity attached to the check. I felt as though our waitress at the last meeting did well. After all, she had to contend with "musical chairs" and twice as many people as i had guessed. So let us not cheap out on this meeting. Not everyone left a decent tip.

Nice meeting tonite. Thanks to all who attended. A special thanks to Amy Tsang and Travis T. We had a few thoughts on the worker core group thanks to them. I will carry our auto-x concerns to the board. Now on to the new: any suggestions for the september meeting, am listening. We also touched on the subjects of auto fair and this weekend at the road races. Auto fair signup will be posted in the next day or three. james

I want to personally apologize for not attending. I am having to work overnights at south park mall 9pm to 730 am. It just wasn't feasible for me this month. What was the mention on core group workers at the meeting And a spot tO meet. Place called the www.tiltedkilt.com/. I though duck might like this place.

Worker sign-up should be by group as originally handled. We also need more backup in timing personell. there will be a soon to be announced trailer party to organise and tidy trailer. Safety peeps are pretty well covered. we may return to "roll call" before each event. And other stuff i missed because short skirt. All in all we think things are fair smooth, but we keep looking for ways to improve.

Timing is good I believe. Duckworth is our new timing chief, D'Amico thought Duckles is a better fit it is not that he will be leaving us. Registration needs additional help. A rule/supps sheet will become available with how the 24hour event will be ran. This will be available online before the event and in paper form for all registrants at the event.
