This is a PAX event?? SCORE!! Everyone register STF and chip in to buy a few sets of tires for my Mazda and we can dominate the event with my re-donkulously low PAX!!! Hahaha.... "And representing the CCR region... seventeen people running the same Mazda 3..."

Although certain class helps, it favors car prep theoretically if a driver drove a bunch fully preped cars then he should come out roughly with the same pax time.

Sorry guys, looks like I won't make this event either. This is the weekend of the SARRC Invitational and seeing how I'm in the lead for points to win the F600 SARRC Championship I need to be there.

I know it's early in the registration cycle, but I just registered and only see 3 or 4 CCR drivers on there. Let's go CCR!
There is no pre-payment required, so please get on there and register! It closes earlier than normal on the 23rd..
Top 15 pax times for each club will be counted for the Club cup, plus there will be class winners as well.

Chris, you know I'm right behind you lol.
We have the drivers without having to worry about PAX. I'll tell you the key to winning the NCAC ..... Run with Triad. We can beat them! We have every bit as much talented drivers as they have, without the national trophies.

I don't know what this is all about, but it sounds like fun. If just having more drivers there somehow improves CCR's odds let me know - I just don't want to drag down the average. Also, I'm technically an SCR region member, didn't know if they look at where I'm registered with SCCA or if I can just register as a CCR member for this event. And if I'd do more harm than good let me know, my feelings won't be hurt... much

Several of us ran as novices last year. You will have a good experience, and the price is awesome for a 2 day event! Don't worry about being the fastest driver- If you are new at this-you need this experience!!! Let the chips fall where they may.

It's my first year competing too and I probably won't be helping CCR all that much, but I'm going to have fun trying. You've been driving great, so I think you'll represent the club great. C'mon out!

Joe and Alan, go! A time is better than a dns. You two are doing well. Adam, I kill you lol. No way to make the Ahmed voice in text form. Although I shouldn't do that to an active militant.

I liked to format we used last year where it was a combination of top pax and raw. Why are they changi. ng it tojust pax. My guess is whichever club has the most ST cars will win Keith Vail takes most of our FTP's with stock, SP and ST all pretty even behind him. Most

Do not hesitate to sign up! Each team needs drivers, period, fast drivers are just a bonus! Official count for you guys is currently 4. Triad has 12, Tar Heel 20, and NCR with 41. 3 "others" currently registered. I would love for all 4 of those teams to hit 15!
Which team you run for is totally your decision, and you don't have to choose a team at all. There are individual class trophies. I figured CCR would be getting some SCR folks since you guys all autocross together. Some of the Myrtle Beach chapter SCR members will be running for NCR because they run with us just as often as anywhere else.

I registered as CCR. Not that I think my time will be anything near what CCR really needs but at least it won't be a DNS or DNF whatever they list less than 15 as =P.
Also I have a question. There is no Street Tire Pax at the NCAC, but there is Road Tire. Alan told me he thought Road Tire was for stock classes only? So I guess I just have to run as C Prepared in that case? And if so, I don't want to have to get new magnets printed just for one event, can I just run with tape over the T on my magnet?

-RTR and RTF are for stock class legal cars running on street tires instead of slicks.
-Taping over the "T" should be fine...
There is no "hurting" the club on this.. The fastest 10-15 pax times for CCR will count. It would be worse to not have enough drivers. We need at least 10, preferably 15 drivers. People! Register for gosh-sakes! :-)
