It's time to sign up for the SEPTEMBER 29 & 30 Chasing the Dragon III Hillclimb in Robbinsville, NC!www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=13409The Hillclimb Novice program is being offered again... great chance to run your first hillclimb on a novice license and get classroom and mentor instruction! This program is offered at no additional charge but meetings are mandatory in order to run on a Novice Permit. We will have some tough competition for Heikki and this will be a show you will not want to miss. Great seats for spectators... BETTER seats for course workers and event staff... but BEST seat has a steering wheel in front of you. ; ) See you at the Dragon! Attachments:

I see Donald Kahn of Colrain, MA just signed up. I met Don through the Robin Hood Rally ... he drives an Ultima GTR but will be bringing his SRF for our hillclimb! Roger Carter and Bryan Toth came with first time Hillclimber, Shane Findlan and helped out working at the Dragon II Hillclimb earlier this year. They are returning this Fall BUT AS DRIVERS! Roger purchased Joey's Blue RX7 (we've seen this car at many a SOLO event) and Bryan is bringing a "slightly modified" RX7... (that translates as "BEASTLY"!) Shane will be returning to run but this time in his Corvette. Congrats to all these guys for working their rears off to get their cars ready in time for DRAGON III! It will be worth it!  Better get busy with registration and getting reservations... this is filling up fast. 15 cars signed up in 1/2 of a day! Let's get go racing! Attachments:

ERIC! Good NEWS!!!!! There will be no "workers waiting for meals for the FALL hillclimb"... we iz ALL having BBQ! Colvin's BBQ makes some wicked good barbecue... another reason to join the hillclimb fun! |

Since I decided to participate in the "Chasing the Dragon 3" race at the end of September, I thought I'd take a ride up there to see what I was getting myself into. The event looks to be a great time.
