Just got these and I have this cut on one of the tires. Obviously its not all the way thru but I'm wondering if this will ruin the integrity of the tire. your thoughts? thanks Attachments:

At that depth it should be worn off soon. I highly doubt it's going to have any bearing on the integrity of the tire.

Don't sweat it. I pick up little cuts and like Steven said - they disappear pretty quickly.

Normal, that's the seam where the tread joins itself. Usually if you run it on the other side of the car it will go back together, but it's not harmful as is.
Front or rear and on FWD or RWD?

Matt. I thought they were mold wrapped ie no seam The tread is wrapped around the carcass, and then it is put into the mold. It's not like injection molding where liquid is put into a mold.

It's a front tire on a rwd car. Just looks like someone took a razor blade to it. If you swap sides on the front (where braking force is the primary force), or put it on the rear on the same side (where acceleration is the primary force, acting in the opposite direction) the split will close up. In any case, it's harmless.
