The 'Huggy Bear' word on the street is, Black Lake is being re-paved, and one day soon we will actually autocross on a black, 'Black Lake'.  The bad news is the November 3rd SCR Autocross Event will be canceled because of it. |

A) I didn't have problems with the grip there. I actually rather enjoyed it... thought it was better than ZMax. *stirs pot* B) That sucks  |

I told you...hahaha. I like the grip at the Black Lake but it was getting a little rough on tires. I bet the new pavement will be kinda slick to as they use the site for a lot of wet weather tire testing there. but oh well. Yea sucks though missing another event.

Well, me to. Didn't mean to sound negative. just meant that I bet the pavement will be smooooooth as that would be better for any tire testing. From what I have heard they were concerned with the "aggregate" starting to show more as the asphalt binder kinda goes away leaving sharp edges that are great for grip but bad for "mileage" and harder to do wet tire testing. So I have the feeling that it will be really smooth. Thats kinda what I meant in my other post. So i am also very happy bout this as this is an incredible site and could only be better.
