Details are still being worked on. Be patient. This is everything I have at this time. Handout of Rules and Tips will be available online before the event. Patience please. This is a big event to work out.
(Event Flier ?)
A full set of rules and tips are available as an attachment on the MAE event details page. Handout copies will be provided to each participant as they register.
Start at Noon on Saturday September the 1st and end promptly at Noon on Sunday September the 2nd.
NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ON SITE
Registration is broken up into 12 hour segments. For each of the 12 hours registered, the participant must work 2 hours. These work shifts must fall in the corresponding 12 hour segment. If registered for 24 hours, you must work 4 hours total. 2 hours must be worked in the first 12 hours AND 2 hours must be worked in the second 12 hours.
Each participant will be able to make as many runs as they choose in whatever car they choose(as long as it has passed technical inspection). However, each participant is only allowed 5 Official runs. Official runs will be called by the participant as they pull up the start BEFORE they make their run. These runs can be made at any point throughout the 24 hours of the event and do NOT have to be first thing or consecutive. Official runs MUST be taken in a car that meets the criteria of the class in which they registered in.
If there is a mechanical issue a participants vehicle, the participant will be allowed to compete in another car. If classing changes need to be made, that can be handled(please do this at an open registration period). Previous official runs may only be counted towards the new class if the previous class is eligible for the new registered class. Official run count will NOT start over. The participant only has the number of remaining Official runs to take, but is still allowed to do as many runs as they choose unofficially.
