Nariah: Go ahead and register as whatever you feel like, then we can change and reclass you at registration or timing once you nail down a ride. I'd offer you one, but neither of my cars will be competitive in Pro unfortunately (Torsen throws Miata into STR... MINI is on street tires). Still, you're welcome to drive either one! Registered. Thanks for the offer Steven we'll see what happens.

Registered. I know the general setup, but have a couple questions. How does the grid work? I know how it does normally, but with everything mingled together is it just that if you aren't working you're free to jump into the grid? Thanks.

You'll work a 2 hour block each 12 hours, but any time you aren't working, you're free to jump in whatever you want and get in line. Grid will be 3 lines over to the right of the course entrance. It's hard to explain if you've never been to the site, but you'll understand once you get there.

Ok, thanks! I'll be arriving a bit late, but look forward to it. I'll also be asking for pointers from some of you more experienced folks.

If you signed up for both days are you obligated to run both days? Also do you need to run both days for points? My wife, who gets excited evert time FedEx shows up with new parts, on top of never questioning the money I spend on this, is kind of dropping hints about not making this an all weekend affair. Also is this an abrasive course? I heard it was.

And you are not obligated to do both days, although it is twice as fun. As for the surface, it is not smooth like zMax, but it is no more abrasive than Danville or Metrolina. It is typical used asphalt.

Well, my plans to get both cars up there seem to have fallen through. Sorry to anyone I had promised a chance to drive the MINI, but I'm only going to be bringing the Miata up it appears. The tread on the MINI tires is so low already that I just don't want to abuse them anyway... hoping to make it through the year.

Any crazy ideas for the course Micheal? The course will be similar to this video of mine from the Triad event earlier this year.
