Since the night events have been going well, I would like to know what your thoughts are on adding a September event. But light is quickly fading on us and we will be running primarily in the darkness.
So what are your opinions on driving in with the low light levels that we will encounter. Personally I had no problem seeing at night, and had no issues driving in the dark. The lights on the buildings and the 2 light towers worked well in my opinion, so I wouldn't mind a 5th Night Event. What say you?

I remember the first night event. And granted I love a week day race as much as the next guy. I just don't think the light positioning plays well. I heard it was tough towards the end wed. But I'm just jealous cause I couldnt come

Even though I totally sucked in the dark, it's still still fun as hell. For me, the darkness is only a problem in the sweepers when you're trying to look ahead and your lights aren't pointed where you're looking. Unfortunately for me, entering and exiting those sweepers were a big part of gaining/losing time on that course.
Either way, I would support another event in September. Any chance we could do another night besides Wednesday? I liked the first one we did on Thursday and it seemed to have the most entries.

Go for it.
I'd only suggest that maybe we run without the light tower at the back of the lot - or ask to reposition it. It seemed to cause some problems in the slalom.
The novices were also having issues in the dark - suggest they go first while there is still some twilight

Considering I have been knocking off a second pretty consistently at each night event, I am definitely down for another night event!
