Triad Sports Car Clubs next event will be at LJVM in Winston-Salem , NC on Sunday Sept. 16 . Sorry for the delay in getting registration up but between most of our crew being in Lincoln , NE for the SCCA Solo Nationals and trying to lock down an even better site we were forced to wait . Registration can be found here events.auto-x.com/event/detail/78/ .We look forward to seeing you out there as we celebrate our strong showing at Lincoln and our traveling crew bringing home SEVERAL National Championships and a handful of trophies !

I'll drop him a line ASAP. If he's going I know he won't care.

Don't do it, Andy.... once you drive a Miata, you'll never be able to go back to your S2k!

Hey... wait a minute... we still haven't seen you wear that skirt you were supposed to at the Sneed Speed Shootout! AJ or Licursi: Can you take some decals up to Tony for Biscuit? I'm gonna be at CMP and I'd like to get these to him this weekend.

Well, i don't have a Miata right now, justa Miaturd... but you're always welcome to drive it if it makes it to an event . Gonna try to figure out where all my oil is going/coming from and get the alignment changed. If I can do that before Sunday I'll be there.

Mine will be there too, Andy. You're more than welcome to drive it since you were kind enough to let me drive yours at Metrolina. I will warn you now you CANNOT be as aggressive on braking in my car as you were yours or you'll just end up with a cloud of smoke at the front and no steering input

I'm still waiting to hear if Mitchell is going to bring me a gift. I hope so because I want the damn thing. I need to know how much different this car will be. Otherwise its stay at home or try to talk an s2k into going so I can test it.

Pre obdII 1.8s yes. This is for Casino's car. Mitchell has been holding it captive for a couple years. The truth is he keeps upgrading it which is nice.

For a small lot, that was an INCREDIBLY fun course. During the course walked, I picked out what I called the "grow a set sweeper". During my runs, I found the "grow a set lane change". It amazed me how much time I picked up in fun runs by just not being a wuss through there.
This is the only run I got on video.... a fun run at 38.6s (which was faster than my best competition time of 39.0). I even managed to take another 0.4s off that on my last fun run.

here are my runs from yesterday. i was in first run group when the course was really damp and slick. i couldnt launch the car off the line or put much power down but i ended up with a respectable 40.0 for the damp. Then i noticed by 3rd heat everyones runs were starting to really come down in time.
I told myself had to stay for fun runs and see what the car would do in the dry and i was right! for fun runs it immediately dropped to the 38's here was my 38.2 & i had cr89x riding along with me on my 38.5
First the heat one damp track
then afternoon dry being able to put more power down

Thanks for braving the pre-event rain! Licursi lost some valuable points! Sorry I missed it, woke up it was pouring and having no tread on my tires felt it was a bad idea to travel on them in the rain. Anyway I figured I would give Dave and James a 0 to make it even.
