Unfortunately I have to sell my 1982 Mazda RX-7 racecar. Asking $1500. I bought the car last year with the intention of updating it to run SCCA IT7 and time trials. Family duties have put a hold on my racing future for the time being. So I’m putting the car up for sale. I don’t have a lot of background on this car. The car was originally built by a shop for a previous owner and was raced. At present time, I have not started the car. One of the previous owners took the carb off to clean it and there are a couple hoses that I’m not sure where they connect to. This may be nothing for someone with some basic rotary knowledge. The car does crank very strong. I’ve kept the car in an indoor storage unit since I got it. This car would make a fun race or track day car. Here’s some information on the car:
UPDATE: I'm not exactly sure what of the actual part names for the suspension pieces which is why I've listed them as miscellaneous.
1982 Mazda RX-7 with 12a rotary motor
exterior:
body is straight and in good shape – small surface rust on spot on passenger door, driver’s side door has a patch spot (possibly from rollcage install)
has aluminum front valance – integrated front brake hose ducting, front lip is rusted
windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced
interior:
6 point welded rollcage with Nascar door bars on driver and passenger side and brace bar running across front dash, door internals have been cut out/removed
Grant quick release steering wheel hub/mount
Aluminum race seat with cover (unsure of brand) with adjustable lumbar air bladder, has seat back brace bolted to the seat (needs the rollcage mount), seat is on factory seat mount so you can adjust the seat distance/reach
Wide angle rear view mirror and passenger side round mirror mounted on rollcage

Sunpro tach and temp guage, rollbar mount
Have (2) 5point harnesses (one is a Sabelt) but both are out of date

Suspension:
Mazda Limited Slip differential
Camber Plates
Upper strut tie bar
Unsure of age/make of shocks and springs currently on the car
Believe car has Tri-Link rear suspension
American Racing 5 spoke racing wheels
BFG race tires on car are shot
Misc Parts Included w/ Car (have pics of all items included):
Spare intake plenum
Ground Control suspension bar and a few other suspension pieces
(2) sets of springs
a couple misc hoses (radiator and a braided hose)
alternator
double alternator pulley
brand new brake proportioning valve
fuel pressure regulator
(2) brand new Moog inner and outer tie rod ends
