It's so nice that we all had such a nice time in Savannah. Word is that Bucc is losing $$ on this event to the point where it will not be on schedule next year. We need to do 2 things: write nice things about this event on their forum and try to encourage more drivers to enter the event should we succeed in getting them to hold it again. Our division is large and spread out which makes it hard for us "easterners" to travel to Alabama for TGPR events and for them to travel to events in the east. Entry fees have to be higher than they were a few years ago to make a realistic dent in expenses. Over the winter, we SEDiv TT drivers need to discuss our future and what we can do to grow our program. Thanks to all who came to Roebling and had a good time in spite of our various troubles. Poor Sophia would not start but thanks to Robert, could be pulled to start, then she developed a terrible vibration in 5th gear so I did not push her to do more than she could. Hoping to get her in good shape for the future. A Carolina Cup Double weekend would work wonders...will suggest again.

Ray and I always wanted to go to this event, this year however was out of the question for us. If they hold it again next year, we will plan to be there. Double the expense does make it hard for us, and some others I suppose. Don't know if a drive one day / work one day could be offered here, but it might help with entry costs for some. Just a thought. I hear it is an fun track and would like to try it.

Now that you have caught the disease, there is no cure! It is a life long affliction that can involve your entire family. But, welcome to the sport. Boy! That's a fact...It started with an invitation from Ted (and support from my wife) to run the Dragon in his RX-7. That led to me building up an old Corvette into a TT/Hillclimb car and I have now run 2 events with it. Drat, for some reason we don't schedule any events over the winter and I am hungry for more!! I am addicted to it now. Hillclimbs and TTs rock!!! Should have done it years ago. Thanks to all the workers/volunteers for making these a success. And, I want to thank all the drivers I have spoken with who have shared information to help me go fast enough to stay out of their way!

Hey Ted, during the 2010 SEDIV TT season I ran a 1:23.870(CSP) at Roebling Road. Event #5 July,18th........From what I understand the fastest time before that was a 1:240xx by John H. Charlie, I finally got a copy of the results from the 2010 Time Trial ran in July. The Track Record for SEDIV TT in CSP is 1:23.9 belonging to Charlie Fullwood. I added this on the www.sedivtt.com website here : www.sedivtt.com/historical-records-track-events/Congrats! Sorry that piece of history was missing. I have dug out results from old regions forums, hard copy records and some SEDIV TT email attachments. This event was on MYLAPS only... no one ever reproduced it and the link was lost during SC Region's last website renovation. But we got it now! ANY other resutls we are missing, please send them to me... THANKS! Now Charlie,,, for that car to sit is just a shame. Come on out in 2013 and play with us. We got some new drivers and a lot of fun going on. I really want you to meet the Dragon! ;D

Good work Ted on tracking down those results....As long I have my car there is always a chance to get back out and run some events. SU looks like a class that has grown over the past couple of years and would be a fun challange.....But TT events are not really in my plans for the 2013 season.....So if you know anyone looking for a car ready to go to the track, hill or autox, let me know..
