Paddock will be different from usual due to another event happening, i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z435/cr89x/Intschoolpaddock.jpg. Paddock will be between the fences and alley way. Please do not leave vehicles idling in the garage area. Trailered vehicles may unload and paddock on the pavement. Due to spacial constraints, truck and trailer rigs must be parked in the grass to the side of the course area. STUDENTS - Please register with your base class provided, or what class you think your car will be in. We prefer to have experienced students for this school, register as E class. Minimum of three events, but more is preferred. This will be strictly drive time with knowledgeable instructors. True Novice drivers are not discouraged, register as R class. INSTRUCTORS are not required to register, but please email that you will be able to attend. If you can bring your competition car, please do. SCHEDULE Set Up 7AM Registration 7:30 - 8:30 Tech Inspection 7:30 - 8:30 Instructors Meeting 8:30 Drivers Meeting 9:00 Instructional Course Walks - Following drivers meeting DRIVING SCHEDULE Students will be split into two groups Each student group gets to drive Instructors get to drive their cars Break for lunch Student groups drive again More Instructor fun run ride alongs This will be a good time for those wanting to step up and help the inner workings of the club ( ie Timing).

I see a sub for rookies... I take it that newcomers are welcome as well just like a regular novice school?

I'm hoping to not have too many Rookies, true novices like our spring school, but they will not be turned away unless we can not facilitate enough instructors to help them.
I simplified SM, M, and P. It retro spec for simplicity, I probably should have simplified every group, like the night series pax classes.

Question about dates. Wouldn't the school be the 27 and points be the 28? Or are we not doing points event day after? Or is the points on the 27? Eric had posted 10/28/12 on the points event.

I'm planning on being there. Like was mentioned above, if you are interested in learning about timing this is a good chance, as it will be much more relaxed in the trailer.

This wasn't a voluntary undertaking. Heater core crapped out on me while on a trip to Asheville, and then got that back together only to find one of the pipes going to it now has a hole in it... At this point I've probably dumped about 3 gallons of coolant into my carpet and still don't have a drivable car. Awesome. On topic, unless I find that pipe used locally tomorrow I won't be there. |

It's alive! I won't have the entire interior back in for Saturday, but I'll be there! So, if anyone in power sees this, +1 SM car for tomorrow as a student.
Also, I know the paddock has changed, but are we still using the usual entrance? Thanks.

Yes, regular entrance. You will still sign waivers at the guard shack. We will be directing you where to park from there.

VERY fun day. Thank you all. We had about 30 students and 10 instructors and made 530 laps. Plenty of runs, lots of smiles, a lot of good times. Retai the knowledge and be sure to develop good habits based on what you learned.

I'd like to give a shout out to Duckles, Mike, and the guy with the GS Mustang for helping me patch my tire in the middle of the first run group. If it wasn't for you guys my day would have ended after 2 runs, and I really do appreciate you getting me back running again.
