Cruise Control Xtreme TV along with Red Robin invite you to a Cruise in/ Poker Run to benefit Children’s Speedway Charity on Saturday, November 24th starting at 9:00am at Red Robin in Mooresville NC.

There will be 5 stops:
1-Red Robin in Mooresville NC
2-The Performance Factory Concord NC
3-Red Robin in UNC Area
4-Towne and Country Ford, Charlotte NC
5-and ends at The Red Robin, Ballantine

You don’t have to drive a classic or hot rod to join us … ALL CARS WELCOME

The Fee is $10.00 pre-register and $20.00 that day. First prize is a $50.00 Gift Card from Red Robin. There will be prizes given away at each stop. … All moneys will go to The Children’s Speedway Charity. You can also bring an un-wrapped gift to any of the stops prior to the cruise

I might be down as long as I'm not doing family stuff that day. How exactly does it work? Define "magnet up" for me, lol.

"Magnet Up"= dress your car up like you are going to an Autocross.. Purely optional of course, but it gets people talking and gives you an opportunity to discuss SCCA..

It's a "Poker Run" format- Start at one place, then cruise to another place, have a drawing, mix and mingle, saddle up and drive to the next place, etc..

Most "Poker Runs" involve a deck of cards - you get a card at each stop, then whoever has the best poker hand at the end wins..; But I don't think that aspect is taking place this time.

Starts in Mooresville and ends in Ballantine(south charlotte)

They've just posted that instead of an online registration - they'll be accepting New Toy donations ($10 value) -or- Cash on site..
