Walter there is a CRX in CSP making about 4 hp across the board. That's a pretty decent gain. 5 hp in a miata is significant. that would probably be a OBDII type of computer (some type of standalone, hondata, MS ... something like that) a bit more difficult with OBD0... and then I'd have to be able to find fuel, sure locally I could map out where they are without much trouble .... but when I'm traveling ... different story ...not going to happen ... and besides I'm chasing lots more than that last half second ;D.. 'course I also expect the STAC to do away with it for ST ... but even if they don't, I can't see myself re-plumbing the entire fuel system

I think E85 should be banned in ST. It's definitely not street-friendly, considering how terrible the fuel economy is in cars that aren't designed to use it. It's also hard to find. I've spent some time trying to convince STS and CSP guys to run it, as it's guaranteed power, but very few do because of the lack of availability. Where do you get 110? All I can get at the pump is 100oct www.racegas.com/fuelfinderInteresting not one place within 50 miles that will sell 110 out of a pump to the public.

I know of at least 4 places near CMS that sells 110 , but its not street legal and must be dispensed into containers .

Yup, the place up the street from the dealership has Sunoco 112 but only dispensed into "approved containers.

Since GM is dropping their alcohol (E85) flex fuel vehicles, I expect the supply sources will be drying as the auto industry loses interest.

from what I can find that's not a 100% accurate statement .... the mandate to produce and mix into gasoline over 13 billion gallons of ethanol this yr is still in effect ... and this will increase to 15 billion gallons in 2015 .. so while the growers may or may-not be receiving a government handout to redirect their efforts from feed corn to ethanol corn, it is still affecting the growing/usage patterns ( and when you consider the monstrous mid-west {corn belt} drought) the production of corn based ethanol is even harder to justify
