Here's a challenge for you...
I'd like to find the 5 oldest ACTIVE autocrossers in CCR Membership.
If you are an current member of CCR and have at least one autocross somewhere in the Southeastern US with some club this year, post up here...

I'll lead off... 1. Your name and location : Ted Theodore, Simpsonville, SC 2. Your age : 55 3. When you started autocrossing and what you drove then : 1981 - In a Triumph Spitfire and Porsche 914 4. What you drive now : Z3, CSP Miata and Jedi Hillclimber 5. Include a picture of you autocrossing in your earlier days : Picture is of me winning first FTD in a CARACAL FV with a 12A with Clemson Sports Car Club ...second pic is me in same car at a Divisional Solo II at Road Atlanta in 1986. It might have been more interesting to find the active autocrossers who have been in the sport the longest. But, since you and James and I have been at it longer than most of the currently-active autocrosser have been alive, it may all work out the same.

Hi Juniors,
1. Lars Lattstrom, Rock Hill SC.
2. 67 (68 in Mar '13).
3. 1994 in San Francisco CA Reg with an '88 Ford Mustang LX.
4. Currently sliding around with some Cobra replicas i XP.
5. No pics from early events. Cameras were just invented.
Looking forward to an O.F.A.C. badge...

First autocross, 1976 at UNCC(boy did it RAIN).
1969 Ford Mustang convertible.
1980 Ford Pinto-EP, and building a 1980 Fiesta for FSP or EP, I haven't made up my mind.
I would post a picture but I don't know how.

We ran at Eastland Mall and at Independence High School. Only ran a couple of years then started back in 2005. Jeff Raley Rock Hill SC 54 years YOUNG ! Started in '78 or '79 in a '73 Formula. Finished this year in Eric Peck's 01 BMW Z3 Z3lda (THANKS ERIC !!) Next year, maybe back in the CRX in HS, or......would like to drive something with AWD, anybody want a codriver ?? I'll try the pics later,........ |

Dean Furr, age 56.7, autocrossing continuously since 1977. Started in a 1968 GTO with NCSSCC. After that: 1972(?) Capri v6, 1966 Ford Galaxy 500, 1961 Fiat Abarth 750, 1976 Pontiac Wagon with 455cid, 1967(?) Triumph Spitfire, 1969 Spitfire, Ford Escort GT, and a few I have forgotten. Currently co-driving the 1983 Rabbit in XP. (Bought the car new in 1983.) Attachments:

(I realize one or two of these may have missed a season or two along the way. Still, that's a documented half-dozen with over three decades each, and I'm sure that's less than half the list!)
