Eric, you can count on me and Kurt Becker. He twisted my arm and convinced me to co-drive his Lotus this year So does that mean the brz is up for grabs?

Don't worry Chris, I'll still bring the BRZ around every now and then; I just couldn't pass up the chance to drive a Lotus on Hoosiers. If Mike gets those summer night events setup again, I'll probably run my BRZ in STX for those.

The good thing about running in intermediate class is that you can switch cars and it wont affect your points.
I'm sure it was a hard decision to choose the Lotus (sarcasm intended), but you'll definitely have your work cut out for you with the SS PAX.

Only 18 seconds?! Yea SS pax is tough, ask Chris lol. The Lotus is an animal for sure. I only drove Chris at Metrolina. What a pig in low speed. I need to try it at zMax once. Because of my car choice so far for this season, I'm thinking about playing in Intermediate. NA .... That wouldn't be fair to you guys. Then I'd be a trophy hunter.
This class should be interesting. Keep talking it up everyone. I've been going thru registrations and sending out some emails suggesting the class to people.

To be honest, I'm sure that I'd probably finish higher in the PAX standings with my BRZ than the Lotus, but it's fun to try different things and challenge myself. And AJ, if you want to run Intermediate with us I definitely wouldn't mind at all. I know your skills and goals are higher than "intermediate", but I just wanted to mention that you wouldn't get any complaints from me.

It would be a good boost/push for those in the class I suppose. As of right now, I have inferior prep cars slotted for the first few CCR events. They may prove me wrong, but we'll see.

Bad juju AJ, since you've announced your mad skills you can't allow any intermediate drivers to beat you.

I know that means I'll have to out-raw Josh by about 18 seconds a lap, but it will be a fun challenge! lol! In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to running with you guys this year. I hope we get a few more folks to join the class. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! I'll drive backwards if you want Looking forward to having actual consistent competition this year. Winning by default blows. Belly up to the bar boys.. Club Wankel is open for business. You meant Renesis, not Wankel

I can already tell the course workers are going to be confused when calling in +1's on you.

I can already tell the course workers are going to be confused when calling in +1's on you. Poor spacing is more the issue, they are almost stacked upon each other. If Mike gets those summer night events setup again, I'll probably run my BRZ in STX for those. We will be doing 5 or so Night Events Don't worry, you'll do fine in the Lotus. As AJ mentioned it has no low end pop, but neither does your BRZ. With minimal torque, you have issues with both in slow corners. You did well driving with Jay in the FRS. You showed good speed maintenance, and you didn't drive from point to point, which will kill your times.

Ha, ha, yeah I guess I can't complain about PAX if you decide to bring your XP PAX to the Intermediate class. I'll be quiet now.

I'm really looking forward to driving the Lotus this season and I'm glad to hear that some of the things I've learned in driving my BRZ should translate to the Lotus.

Being that I got I disagree handed to me last year in Pro and there will be another Lotus in Intermediate I think I will give it a shot too. Hopefully I won't have as many conflicts this year and can make more events. I think I missed almost the entire second half of the season last year.

It would be awesome to see you in Intermediate Chris! I know it might not have quite the excitement that Pro has, but hopefully we'll still give you some decent competition. I'd certainly enjoy running against another Lotus. Kurt has a set of the TR Motorsports wheels and Hoosiers on order from Tirerack and they should be here just in time for ZMAX. Can't wait!

Just a couple of questions about Intermediate class,
(1) Will the "I" go in front of your base class letters or behind them, would a C-Stock be ICS, or CSI ? ( I see Tire & Pro done both ways)
(2) Since season points will be going to the base class, will there be a season thophy for Intermediate? If so, you could win Intermediate and base class points?
(3) Since the points are going to base class, will Intermediate run together in a run group, or run with base class? Say C-stock runs in the first run group and Intermediate runs last, then there are cars running for season points running under different conditions, Hmmm
Just askin'..........somebody will,.........

If you run intermediate class points will only be earned for that class not your base class.
I assume that all intermediate drivers will run in the same group.

I would like to see I CS on the sides of cars. Intermediate will be its own class and have it own season points championship. You will NOT get points for base classes. And they will run together in the same run group.

Maybe to cut down on confusing an I with a 1 we should try to get people to put the class letters before the numbers.
I CS 101 instead of 101 I CS

Great questions Jeff! Truly. ALL PAX class lettering should. One BEFORE the base class, only exclusion is Ladies. Correction, intermediate class is its OWN class and will not count towards open classes. Therefore, intermediate will have its own class championship. Your confusion comes because of talks of doing the all combined pax classes. The goal, like all PAX classes outside of novice, is to have them run in the same run group. No worries there. Thank you again for asking Jeff.
