First, since timing and course worker efficiency is predicated on good numbers and letters. And tape or paper numbers kinda stink most of the time. Usually unreadable from 25ft, much less 200. And I am sure most of the Autocross regulars have some old oddball magnetic numbers and letters laying around, I know I have a few.
So what if we all chipped in with some of our magnetic digits we have laying around and donate them to the trailer. Especially "N" for obvious reasons, who is going back to Novice Class? I'm sure we can get a good amount gathered up in a variety of colors.
And for a refundable $10 deposit, we give out some, often unmatched numbers, but readable to all who need to.
Bring what you can to Cars n Coffee on Feb 2nd, the monthly social on Feb 7th or to the first few events and see what we can accumulate. I would much rather more something useful in the trailer than those damn head-socks and old trophies.

That's a great idea Mike. I have some N's I can donate..
But I'll be working the weekend during Cars and Coffee again, so I guess I'll bring them to zMAX.
I need some "I" 's

I recently found some "GT" magnetics from when my home region first ran a PAX class in the mid/late '80s. Guess they're not what you're looking for now...

Anything works, if they are together, we can cut it in half for a "G" or "T" Any numbers, any letters. We have a lot of classes that require a variety of letters. "S" "T" and "N" I would think are needed most, but anything is appreciated.

Have you guys ever used autocrossnumbers.com for ordering numbers? I ordered numbers about 2 weeks ago and they said that they would check with me, and send an example of the numbers first. I have heard nothing from them and I can not get in touch with them by phone or email.

I would like to collect some old numbers from people and try to start this up, but since nobody has donated any numbers yet, it doesn't look like it will happen.
