So, as you already know, Lisa and I drive the STC 2.5rs. Well, if any of you remember the first event last year, I also have a 2.5rs with a full cage in it that I would like to race in XP. Any rule in racing in two classes? I know I would have to pay twice, but would that work?
Also, there does not seem to be much competition in STC, and someone mentioned that they would let me run the STC built car in the STX class. Can I do this? Just sign up for STX? I could run intermediate, but I like and know the people I would compete against in STX.

Technically you're only supposed to run one class and "Seat Time Only" if you do a second car. Having runs under your belt already when you're competing in a 2nd class isn't really fair, and you're only eligible for a championship in one class. But yes you can run two cars in the same day with two entry fees and two work assignments.

Thanks srduck. I might actually just race in Intermediate, that way if something happens where I need to use a different car, then I am ok. Is there a seat time only when registering option? I really just need somewhere to push my track car to the limit to make sure the setup is good. I would rather compete in the STC car and have fun in the XP car.

I don't think there is an option when registering in myautoevent (I could be wrong) but we can fix you up at registration as STO . Plus I have your and Lisa's trophies to give you at registration as well.

Damn! I knew I forgot a class. I will get that fixed. Yes there is usually the option. As stated, you can only compete in one class per event and the first runs for the day are the ones that count for class and championship.

Thanks guys, I will probably just race one of them in I. Then I could alternate which one I drive at each event if I want.

Yeah, I just noticed and posted about that in the other thread. If you were me, which car would you run? STC or XP?

Ha, ha I just noticed that our thread posting crossed....Anyway if it were me, I'd run your XP car if you had r-comps. Otherwise just stick with Lisa's STC car. You proved that it's more than capable.

Yes, you can run the XP car in fun runs, but you can also run it in STO (Seat Time Only) after your competition runs. This doesn't count for points, but you do get another 4 runs at the cost of admission and a second work assignment. This makes for a little juggling of the work assignments, but we are willing to accommodate people that want to get more seat time. You might work groups 1 & 2, while getting competition runs in 3 and STO in the 4th.
