Hello All,
Congratulations to AJ and Mike along with the entire Solo Core Group as well as to all the others who helped present a safe and enjoyable event Saturday in VERY CHALLENGING circumstances! In the last hour scramble before the published 1st car out time, our Region's Solo Team managed to the balance 70 no show pre-entries with 23 walk-up entries into three workable run groups and get the event started reasonably on time. All these efforts were accomplished and communicated to the assembled competitors without benefit of a PA system - a job VERY WELL DONE!!! Even with the constant rain mixed with snow showers, the event was finished about 3:30 with all 116 dedicated drivers having had a chance to make four high 60's to 80 second PLUS runs. The rain slickened long and twisty course provided the drivers plenty of opportunities to learn and practice the basic competition driving axiom that smooth is faster especially in the wet. Thanks for an enjoyable Season Opener!!!!

Thanks Mike.
It was quite an adventure, I don't know how many time I thought, "If it gets any worse, We're gonna have to call it a day." But thankfully the ice stayed away, and everyone was able to enjoy a nice brisk autocross.

Absolutely... anytime you can pull over 100 people to a rain event, let alone a snowy rain event. You're doing it right!
Great job guys!

Thank you for the kind words Mike!! It was a struggle behind the scenes, but as usual the participants didn't see all of the troubles. We win again! Good driving too sir, I hear you have always been good in wet conditions.
