Just curious to know if the Memorial Monster is still going to happen. Blew the engine in my civic on lap 1 on saturday's Buck Muse race, and I gotta get 4 races out of it by the end of May to keep my license. I just want to know if the races are still going to happen so I can rest assured I will be able to do the two CCPS races and me and my co-driver will fulfill our license requirements. Thanks a bunch! P.S. I know it's still 7 weeks away.

Not sure why you would say "is it still going to happen" when we have held it every year without a cancellation. Registration has always opened 45 days out because we get people entering the May race thinking they are entering the SCR March race. Yes, it does happen. There will be the usual Double SARRC, double CCPS, and the autocross on Monday. Registration will be on DLB site. See you there. ;D

Registration is now open for the Memorial Monster at Carolina Motorsports Park. We have a Double SARRC, Double Carolina Cup Pro Series, And added for this year are Double Atlanta Pro IT series races that run with the CCPS group. Atlanta has plans to add a CCPS to a later race this year. Looking forward to giving drivers of the Pro IT a chance to race more and have a bigger prize fund. Pro IT will be a part of the Charlotte Motor Speedway race in August as well. Track will hold a test day on Friday. Registration Link on DLB www.dlbracing.com/default.aspx?view=2If you want to run a different combination of races than what we have prices for just email the registrar and we will work out a discount for you. If you wish to register for multiple races and share the car with someone we will still give you the multiple race discount. Guests are welcome and need only sign the track waiver to enter. Will need to be on a crew list for hot areas. Camping is allowed on site. We will again have express tech set up at registration so bring your log book only if you have an annual already. One stop and done. Cookout Saturday Night, and everyone is invited. See you there!! Steve Eckerich CCR RE

Thought I would post this up. We are without a pace car driver for the CMP race. We have people that can cover it but are all doing other assignments so will be sharing the duties. If anyone is interested let me know. You must hold an SCCA RR comp license.
Thanks,
Steve Eckerich
