Can you tell I didnt have any input on the schedule ? And that Danville threw a wrench in scheduling . (Plus avoiding Zmax dates that were out first)

First off... I asked for second opinions several times before releasing the schedule and got nothing in response.
We also have a very limited number of sites we can use. Without running on top of CCR and trying to avoid the same with Tar Heel we were left with extremely limited options. The schedule we have is dame near all the available dates our sites had this year. When Danville comes back in 2014 as well as three other sites in the works come into play, this issue goes away. Our club was the first club in NC to start the traveling game and really do the National Autocross thing as a large group. This is our core and will always be. You must travel to go faster. However, when it comes to hosting an event or not having one to accommodate a Pro 5-6 hours away. We're hosting an event.
We (all auto-x clubs) are small potatoes to the organizers we rent parking lots from. Sometimes we have to take what we can get or not play at all.

We all know how difficult scheduling can be. Pro Solo's don't affect me none!
I'm hoping to get my new clutch in this week which means that I may try to superman that thing in on Saturday in time to make the event on Sunday. It would be nice to possibly have a co-drive offer as a backup though in case that doesn't work out... anyone with a two-seater willing?

I'm in.
Andy, shoot me a message if you need some help. I'm free most evenings this week or can give you a couple hours Saturday morning. I've never wrenched on an s2k before, but it's usually good to have an extra set of hands.

Unfortunately I might not be able to compete. Unless anyone is willing to let me co-drive a SMF car. I'm having difficulties with the SMurF and it may be out for a while. If anyone in SMF is will to give me a co-drive for a while, I'll pay your entry or buy your next tank of gas! Your call!

We only get 52 weekends a year.

Dont forget to register !! Weather looks Awesome !
05astock ,,Why should this be moved to the Main forum ? CCR has always allowed Regional Autox Clubs to Post their events in the Autox forum .

I think 05astock was saying the shoutbox should be moved to the main forum page, not this thread. The shoutbox shows up on every page, and is just for random chit chat.

ATTENTION!!
Due to very recent and unexpected personnel changes at BB&T Field. We will be moving Sunday's Groves Gran Prix, literally across the street to LJVM Coliseum.
All else with the event will stay the same.
See you all Sunday morning! Looks like it's going to be great weather for racing!

Okay so who all is going and what's the plan? McDonalds at Exit 49 Bruton Smith Blvd at 6:30 like normal?
Plan is now Exxon at the corner of WT Harris and Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd... a mile or so off I-85. Departure time 7am.

Not sure if I'll be there one way or the other, but I'll probably try.

Scheduling is a pain in the (think Dave)! I've heard the gripping all the time, just passing it along You suck with life schedule too. ZMax is my bday man! I MUST hear more about this Focus Challange!!! I'm not surprised Brett won. He's used to that lower power stock suspension stuff.

Yeah the combination of getting the site contact info later than planned, two sites being out of commission because of issues outside out control, plus having no relationship with the site coordinators makes things a little tough the first season responsible for things.
With work and family being a huge time suck, it's hard to get it all in and spend the time I want on Club related issues.
Next season should be much smoother and much better on the schedule/site side of things. That said. We appreciate all of those who come to our events, as without you all. This would not be banner year attendance wise it has been. You all rock!
PS... I think the auto-x god's don't want me at Zmax... Something always happens on top of it! :-(
