WHERE: Charlotte motor speedway. Media center.
When: Aug 17 Sat in the infield in conjunction with the road race.
WHY: It is a great chance to watch road racing and have a party. All you have to do is sign the waiver. So everyone wanting a social on the weekend, this is it.

Notice to CCR members!
In conjunction with the SCCA road racing weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway this coming August, there will be a Saturday evening (August 17, 2013) social. Time and place are infield Media Center, starting at 5pm. Enter the track at the main tunnel located behind the track near NASCAR turn 3 and sign the waiver presented by the gate guard. Park on the grass to the right of the tunnel exit and walk to the Media center between the garage rows. The social will consist of a complete grilled meal and beverages. Race workers will be expedited to allow them time to finish and rest before manning positions for the evening race. Alcohol will not be served until completion of racing.

We fed about three hundred during the CCR social at Charlotte Motor Speedway last Saturday evening, Since I was manning the grill outside I don't know how many of those were from CCR but if you are and were not there, too bad!~
