Here are a few folks you may recognize:
• Geoff Zimmer took 2nd of 19 in FSP. Tim White co-drove the car,and finished 3rd. Justin Barbry and Justin Mitchell from NCR took 4th and 5th. (Interesting that four of the top five finishers in the class are from the Carolinas.)
• James Feinburg took 2nd of 15 in D-stock, only 0.014 out of first (and actually FASTER than the winner on day 2).
• Jadrice Toussaint took 3rd of 34 in ESP.
• Garrett Molzer of SCR too Frankenstook to the 3rd-place trophy in F-Prep.
• Ginette Jordan took the 3rd place trophy in SML.
• Jinx took the 4th place trophy in SMF,
• Heyward Wagner (recently returned to NC from CA) took the 8th place trophy out of 55 entries in Road Tire RWD.
• Michael Kuhn and Jim Fossum both trophied in STX. (Did I read that correctly? Fifty-nine cars in class!)
• Also seen in the results: The Schoonmakers, Jeff Eng (NCR), Chuck Pyanowski (SCR), Chris Peterson (NCR).
I guarantee I missed someone. Who else went?
If you see any of these folks, congratulate them. Win or lose, competing in the Nationals is an achievement.
