YES... stay tuned. I have decided this year, I'm going to run Mount Washington in the Warlock. Anyone want to caravan up and run their car too? It's only 7.6 miles... Bucket list item # 29

What are the rules regarding novice drivers? I have done a couple HPDEs and autocrosses. I am thinking about getting a car ready for the hillclimb.

Hey Pavel - You're in Luck - The Dragon is one of the few Hillclimb sites that are Novice friendly. All you need is the permit, your personal safety gear and a properly prepared car (which also means safety gear- yes you need a roll bar). There are a couple of good threads in this forum that cover what that is, or track down Shane Findlan, our TT rep.

June 22-23 - Mt. Washington Hillclimb at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire... been talking to the organizers. I am hoping since we are not on top of them and are not on top of PHA Hillclimb series, we can get some of their drivers to come visit the Dragon!

Ted, How do their rules align with ours? I suspect my old Corvette would not be legal (BSP solo rules) But maybe it could be made to be that way? cage? etc. Trying to get Bryan to get RX-Aint ready!!! Isnt the upper part of the course above the treeline? So he shouldn't collect any more logs?

Should have stayed out of Vicki's Mini at the last hillclimb, the urge is back.
Just got my new toy in and plan to spend more time in the seat at this hillclimb. Spo just got one car deeper and this beast is going to be fun. Not spilling it all yet, but it is Mazda powered. Get well soon Heiki!! Let the smack talk begin!!

That looks a lot like a 3rd gen engine with a single Turbo attached.

It is Craig.
I tried smack talk, pictures of new car, etc, and still can't get a rise out of these guys. Very dead off season.
Great job on the TT side, looking forward to building the program. Very encouraged with all the new drivers coming on board this year.

So now you get the questions about which turbo, what boost PSI, what internal engine modifications, etc. I have seen some ridiculous HP numbers out of a single turbo. A friend of mine designed an oil blockoff plate for the oil pan to prevent oil starvation in the high G's. Can take a picture for you when I get home in late Nov.

We have Eastern Standard time, and Eckerich Standard time. They move at very different rates. Besides if I spent more time on my cars, you would still have a set of wall clocks timing the hillclimb.

Sweeeeeeet car Steve! Looks fast, but the last rotary I drove sounded like a John Deere tractor - I hope this one is much better.
