Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say hi to everyone and let them know there is another Protege5 getting into the mix of the wonderful world of Auto-X.
i currently have a few mod's to my car I'm not to sure will allow me to pass an auto-x tech. I have a set of tenzo R rally racing seats welded to my stock seat brackets in my car. they are in their solid. (the drivers seat has a little wobble but that's because of the lumbar and my stock seat was the same.)
I also have a set of universal 4 point harness' i got off of e-bay. they hold me into place with out a problem. I'm just not sure as far as the rules about the harness' I'm looking at getting the 3 point Corbeau Harness' as soon as I can get the money for them.
I also have plotter cutter and am able to help anyone out cheaper then anyone around.

Welcome make sure to read some of the novice threads posted here for good information, and I hope to see you at some events in the future.
I dont think that any of thouse things will keep you from racing but they might move you out of stock class.

lol, you don't know what a Mazda Protege is? Thats kewl. here is a picture of my car. (I am the blue car in the middle.) Oh as far as the stock class, I did the autocross at Lowes Motorspeedway as an Novice STS. I'm lowered, with different rims and a Cold Air Intake, as well as a rear strut brace, but this was before I got my seats and harness' put in.

I've got a set of Delsing Camber Plates for sale to fit the Protege. They will allow anywhere from 0 to -3 degrees camber on the front. They aren't made anymore so they are very rare. They replace the upper pillowball mount on the struts. $300 and I'll install them for you for free. I also have a set of 15X7 Kosei K1 wheels to fit the Protege with an extra set of R'comps that I'm getting rid of. Here is a picture of the wheels. www.msprotege.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=81730&d=1149897084Let me know if you have any questions about the car or setting one up for AutoX. I've been through just about every possible scenario on mine.

I have a Protege, too.
Swedish.
Did you know if you type P-R-O-T-E-G-E into MS Word, it comes out like this -- Protégé.
