There seems to be some confusion at the host hotel. They identified the group and the group rate but couldn't figure out who I should talk to to make the reservation. I was on hold for about 20 minutes. At one point they came back and said the special rate was only good for "the team and the coaches". Whatever. I finally gave up and made my reservation online - while I was on hold. I think I'm paying about 14 bucks more this way, but the value of my time was beginning to exceed the savings.

I'll be at the Le Mans karting place in Greenville tomorrow at 3pm if anyone wants to join in, it's basically just across I-26 from the hotel the banquet is at...

Jack, I had a talk with hotel... they were very apologetic and your rate has been adjusted. Sorry about that. New staff and communication issues... fixed now and hotel coordinator would like to apologize to you personally.

I have heard several mention they might go karting before banquet.... TJ, Dustin Webb, Josie and Tray... wish I could go but I'll be setting up and helping with BOD meeting. Be sure and show your SCCA member card for a discount.
