I'm about to order my new class magnets for this year and due to my rather odd colored car... I'm kinda curious as to what color would be easiest to see/read. From working course I know that sometimes even clean, legible numbers are difficult to see at speed when it is very sunny/bright outside, etc. So, just checking for everyone's opinion/experience. I tried my white numbers from my other STX car and while legible, if I stood at a certain angle they disappeared into the paint completely.. The car is Honda's Suzuka Blue. Sky blue/silvery...Stock picture for reference if you are not familiar. Most likely will be 10" numbers from SPS. I was considering bordered numbers (black w/ a white outline). But also just regular black, though that seems a little dull and boring. I know they're just numbers but come on... there has to be a little flair right? Thanks for any opinions!

A local place to look into for magnets and designs is 803turtledesign. Let me know if you need contact information. They are out of Rock Hill.
My first thought was exactly yours. Black and possibly white outline. You make anything legible with a border pretty much.

AJ, if he's going to do the outline thing .. I'd say white #'s with black outline would show up better … my2¢

I would do solid black, personally. Just spray paint your old white numbers black!

Use a white circle with black numbers on it.

Thanks for all the ideas. I would just order some "Bs" and paint my existing numbers black buuuttt it's not too expensive to just get a whole new set. I like the idea of the white circle... has the vintage racing feel to it that is so cool.

Not to mention if you did a red meatball with white numbers ..... It'd be very fitting for the car ;p
