In order to do the SEDIV TT points, I need everyone's SCCA number or them being a weekend member, Region of Record, and their email addresses. I also need to know if anyone waived points.
Send to Farrout@knology.net
Thanx

Shoot Cameron - if Bryan hears that, he will work overtime on his car instead of at the office.....As his boss, I object...well, on second thought....
Hey folks - I CANNOT THANK THE TEAM WHO PULLED THIS ALL TOGETHER ENOUGH!!!! This was a tremendous event and I will be there in the fall, even if I have to bring an old Ford Fiesta, grocery cart, borrowed stretch limo, stolen school bus....whatever.
THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Hey Cameron, you don't want Steve to have all the fun breaking the record................................do you? I know I know but when Heiki gets his turbo squared away I think its game on. There are only so many, and not very many, days I can step away from family duties. Depends on a lot of factors like are we going to have summer hillclimb event at a new site as that would take priority? PHA wont have me so Duryea is out which helps. Family stuff over the summer, blah, blah, etc, etc. We will see. Shoot Cameron - if Bryan hears that, he will work overtime on his car instead of at the office.....As his boss, I object...well, on second thought.... Is captain scope creep going to make it this year?

You are right that Heiki will get that turbo figured out and be quick. I will have some time in the new car and some tires that are not almost 80 durometer, and you will work some new magic on the Z car. Add George Boland to the mix with his new Sports racer, Blair in his, and it will be a heck of a show. Counting the days!!!

Speaking of Bowland... FIRST time out in Sports racer at TGPR .... first SESSION of the day ... he almost beat his fastest time ever in BBR Shark.
Yeah.. I think he is a force to be reckoned with... LOL

Captain Scope Creep (AKA Bryan Toth) is now digging into the motor - pulling it tonight in fact! He seems to believe that he needs in excess of 600HP to have something that can creep up a mountain at above glacial speed. I suggested that he may gain some speed by learning how to turn right and left, but he is convinced that road racing is merely a set of drag strips connected by some bends. I guess that approach works with application of cubic inches, cubic dollars, and cubic brakes!!!
He seems to be relying very heavily on his drag race connections, and old stock car suppliers for parts. None of whom can spell SCCA, much less understand why you would race a Mazda with a LS-something on a curvy surface. Should be very entertaining to say the least.
I will be thrilled if we don't need to assemble half the hillclimb staff to push it off the line.

Is captain scope creep going to make it this year? I almost take offense to that, sir! This year's not impossible, but unlikely. Making good progress, but it's kind of like one guy making good progress on the Great Wall of China. Some things are staying the same, though. Wheels and tires, and, uh... my Jeremy Clarkson sticker on the windshield. I just want to see the five of you duke it out for top honors. Maybe drag Dietzel's butt back here. I'll be trying to beat up on a certain pesky little turbo miata in the meantime. And you need to make those PHA boys adopt the CCR rules and bring SU up north. Even with the cage and cell, I still don't think I'd make SPO rules.

Would be nice especially since the summer event is looking more unlikely but Im not going to make a stink about it. I look forward to seeing your car when its back in action. Should be a hoot and it has been fun watching you progress so far. Now just need to get back in the seat! PS - nice screen name

If recent car counts are any indicator, any sanctioning body would be nuts not to have an SU-type category.
I look forward to seeing it back in action too. Just lots of little problems/delays on account of the previous owner.
Even though the bottom end of the motor is fine, his oddball (cheap) engine combo is making it hard to find off the shelf parts, etc. Have something up my sleeve with a new clutch combo for the trans, though. Wish I could just pull the trigger on a new SBC, but it's a lot of coin for something reliable at the RPM/power levels I'm accustomed to without going second-hand. Fortunately, if I take a completely different approach at some point (forced induction, LS platform, etc), everything else in the drivetrain and electronics can carry over now. The motor is becoming the weak link in all of it.
I just hope that some day I can play with the big kids in the sub-120's club at the Dragon. Have to get past that stupid hairdryer-fed Miotter first, though.
