Selling my Miata with trailer, 3 sets of wheels/tires, and some spare parts. I imagine some of you will recognize the car. I started doing track days, and realized I'm too tall for the car with a roll bar, so I went a different direction.
You can contact me at 704-839-6931, text or phone is fine.
For the $3500, you get:
--- 1993 Miata LE 5-speed, with Flyin' Miata lightweight trailer hitch and wiring harness. 215k miles on the odometer, but the engine and transmission were replaced at one point and have about 85k miles on them. Compression is good on all cylinders, and the transmission performs flawlessly. AC blows cold, heat blows hot.
--- 3 sets of wheels and tires;
- Stock daisies, repainted with Cooper CS4's with very low mileage.
- Stock daisies, with Falken Azeni RT-615's. 1 track weekend on them, otherwise brand new. GREAT tires for HPDE/track days.
- 94+ Hollow Spoke, with Hankook Ventus Z214, C71, with 1 season of autocross use.
--- Spare front bumper cover and passenger side fender, to repair the damage on the front corner.
--- Tire trailer, with locking metal box and metal decking.
------- About the car ---------
The car won the CCR SCCA E Stock autocross championship 2 years ago, and has been to 1 track weekend at VIR since. It performed flawlessly, with no maintenance concerns whatsoever.
The LE designation stands for "Limited Edition" with only 1500 built and means this car came with ABS, power steering, and AC as well as a higher spring rate. It was the predecessor to the R package.
The car has an upgraded Racing Beat front sway bar with adjustable end links, an upgraded exhaust and adjustable Koni Yellow shocks front and rear. Also a K&N drop in filter.
Since I've owned the car, I've replaced (and have service records/parts receipts):
- **New convertible top and rain gutter, plastic rear window, about 2.5 years ago**
- Clutch and lightweight flywheel about 2 years ago (VERY little mileage/abuse on the car since)
- New KOYO radiator 2 years ago.
- ABS module, had an ABS light on when I first bought it.
- Axxis metal master brake pads, front and rear
- Timing belt, water pump, thermostat and spark plugs about 5k miles ago.
- Replaced a leaking heater core
- Recently (2 months ago) flushed brake fluid, now filled with ATE Super Blue
- Transmission recently filled with Redline MT90
- Differential recently filled with Redline gear oil
Now for the bad about the car. It IS a salvage title car. The car was hit in the front, passenger side corner and due to mileage and age the damage was enough for the insurance company to total it. There is no frame damage, and the car aligns with no issues and drives straight. I have a printout from an alignment just a couple months ago, showing everything within spec. It was just superficial damage. I bought a bumper cover and fender with the intent of eventually fixing it, just never got around to it....I'll include these with the sale. The interior doesn't hold a lot of value for the red LE parts. The condition is commensurate with a car with 215k on the odometer; not horrible, but nothing you'd use for an LE restoration most likely.
Not really interested in splitting anything up, I'd prefer to sell the entire thing as one package.
