Thanks for a great event at Black Lake. It takes a lot of effort, hard work and planning to have a great event even in cool weather. I can not imagine how hard that is when it is 90+ degrees. Thanks again!

Thanks again for the hard work CCR! I had a great time and really enjoyed the course. I thought it was challenging and the surface was also a little tricky which makes things interesting. You definitely did NOT want to get off of the main line or you would be in the sand/marbles and punished severely. Also, a big thanks to Mike and Josh S. for giving me a couple rides in the Torque Monster since I didn't get to walk the course in the morning. That was a big help even if Josh had us sideways for most of the time! Finally, here is a video of my best run (64.69): The section after the cross-over and into the 4-cone slalom was very difficult for me and I never felt like I got it right. The S-turns just before the "Key Hole" were also pretty challenging. I think I drove that section 4 completely different ways.

Results will be coming soon, as we need to look through the worker check in sheets. It seems like many people ditched working, so many DSQ's will be coming.
You can't decide on your own to do a particular job without checking with me. So some of the 10 people in tech will not be getting worker credit.

and keep in mind, that just because we sign up for something in "roll call" …. we still have to check in with the worker jerk

and keep in mind, that just because we sign up for something in "roll call" …. we still have to check in with the worker jerk C'mon Walt, that is so wrong, Travis is a great guy, and a very good worker chief. And great job Joe! Jinx, Junior and Courtney taught you well at the Evo School. Your distance control was impressive with the exception of the entry into to Keyhole, as you were a few feet of of that key cone. I think that part of course was a bit sandier than the rest as I slid the car a bit in that element on pretty much all my runs.

Evo School was definitely money well spent, plus you and Cassino have helped me quite a bit too. I was definitely kicking myself on that Keyhole entry; I just lost patience and got too aggressive with the gas. Oh well, I guess that's why we keep coming back!

Here are the recorded runs in the Torque Monster of myself and Djosh, the Mecca of Autocross Nollege.
Djosh and his first run, Oh Boy! A clean 67.7 with much slydification.
Djosh and his 3rd run with less slydification. So it was better but dirty in The Keyhole.
My 3rd run a 62.8 with too much throttle entering Krakow Highway, and killing my momentum.
My 4th and best run, a 62.4 with a couple of small mistakes entering The Keyhole and The Chain, keeping me away from a 61.x
