SOLD SOLD SOLD
The car is sold now. Once I get some time I'll list the 10AE wheels with 4 event Hoosiers on them, along with another set of factory wheels.
Hi all... did it again... I have my Miata for sale now.
It is emerald green, tan top and tan leather interior (drivers seat is very worn and have seat covers on them). It does have the factory LSD. It has power windows/lock and cruise control The car is in very good condition mechanically and ok condition cosmetically. I bought the car from the original owner in January to autocross with (it's only seen 4 or 5 autocrosses). Since I purchased it I have put about 2,000 miles on it and since I was planning on keeping it, I have done a few things to it:
- Timing Belt and water pump
- Koni Yellow shocks (stock springs)
- Racing Beat front swaybar
- K&N air filter (just the panel in the stock air box)
- Trans fluid change - Ford Synthetic (highly recomended by Miata forum users)
- Dif Fluid change - Redline
- Performance alignment
- Changed the plugs and wires
- Seat covers since the stock seats didn't look good
- New wheels with new Nitto Neo Gen tires
- The car had the hard dog rollbar installed when I bought it. The previous owner (a friends neighbor) installed it in the past few years and was going to try to take the car out for more spirited fun but never got to it.
So given the above maintenance this car should be good to go for some time. Mechanically the car is sound. Cosmetically it is probably a 6 out of 10 (I am very picky). It is the original paint, no accidents or paintwork the front has stone chips and such from normal use... the rear had a bike rack on it at some point and has some scratches due to that. The top is cloth and was replaced about 5/6 years ago and is in fair condition... no holes but definitely wear/rub spots on the inside (I tried to put a patch over them to make sure it didn't rub through, but didn't work out well... most likely due to method used).
I am asking $6,800. I do have a couple sets of tires that I will be selling including some 99 anniversary wheels with A6's (only the 4/5 autocrosses on them) and the stock wheels with pretty old Michelin tires and finally a set of R1R's that I was going to mount on the original stock wheels. The extra wheels and tires will not be sold until the car is sold.
I am in Concord, NC and autocross with the local club here (CCR). Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Michael
