I'll try to find the FB link that the family posted … others on here that are more FB versed than I can probably find it quicker
but the simple answer is it was heart related

I never saw an official release on the happenings. It truly is as the article linked says. He collapsed at an event after his run, eventually passed and was not diagnosed.

I wasn't able to find the FB article (that I guess his family released) that said something to the effect that, while it wasn't a heart attack per se … it was something … something … a clot that blocked for a bit and then moved on …. but by that time the damage was done … or something along those lines … there are people on here that might/probably do have a link to the release

Chris Peterson posted the description you are talking about. All that is known for sure is something blocked the blood flow to his brain for several minutes despite CPR being given immediately.
