Hey everyone, I'm Alex. I have been in the area since 2010 and I just finished building a Factory Five Mk4 roadster. I figured autocross would be a great safe way to learn how to become a safer driver. I just signed up for the Starting line event at Metrolina- maybe I will see some of you there.

Welcome to CCR
I will be at the Starting Line School helping the SCCA put on the event. And as Steve mentioned 3 times, we will be at zMax Dragway this Saturday, so feel free to come join us and drive as we will have experienced autocrossers helping novices all day. But if you're not up to driving yet, come down and spectate to get a feel for an Autocross event. We allow people to ride along with competitors, as long as the driver is willing, which most drivers are and experience an Autocross from the passenger seat. It is an experience everyone should have and a big part of ones learning curve as they start driving themselves. We have loaner helmets for everyone to use if you do not have one yet. Hope to see you this weekend.

Thanks for the welcomes! I forgot about Saturday. When I first started looking in to the schedule I wasnt sure if I would have the car ready for the 26th even... just got it aligned on Tuesday. I may see you guys there this weekend!
Racz, the car was built with new parts, no donor (except the front spindles and hubs).
Steve, I see you have a R32- I have a 2004 R32... Ill have to talk with you about setup!
Im looking forward to getting out and doing some events. Autocross is something I have wanted to do for years but always put off for various poor excuses!
