My girlfriend just picked up a helmet for ride alongs and if she decides to start driving her car at autoX's.
The helmet she bought is Snell M2010 certified but it only has Snell Approved written on the back of the helmet. There is also no bar code inside the helmet saying Snell M2010 like my Snell SA2010 helmet does.
Would she be able to use this helmet at autoX events?

She'll be fine with it. A quick Google search shows Bell's website listing it as SM2010 so I don't see it as a problem at all.

disclaimer: I've never worked tech with CCR, I do however work tech with another region …
and if the "hologram" M20xx/SA20xx isn't somewhere inside the helmet we won't pass it … it would be way too easy for anyone to make a stencil to paint the SA/M cert. on the back of the helmet
and this IN NO WAY means I thing that's what's happened here … just that we don't take the chance … no sticker inside the helmet, no sticker for the event
and keep in mind that this doesn't constitute any official CCR answer … if their tech folk are ok with the helmet ……...
