There is no pre-registration option for pay on site. Will there be?

hmmm. anywhere to hang a hammock? I've slept on the trailer, in the van, in the race car, and on the ground. Saw Jon sleep under his car, and saw quite a few tents. Haven't tried a hammock. There are covered stalls that make good shelter, but you will certainly want a mat of some kind. Well, assuming we hit the entry cutoff. If not, you'll miss the joy of waking up at 0300 and jumping into the car for a few quick runs. It's surreal. Breakfast? Who needs food when there's autocross? Oh, and prepare to be the tiredest you have ever been. I stayed up 36 hours straight one year. I had to have six hours sleep before I could drive home.

One of the coolest thing I've seen at the 24: Sparks from steel-treaded radials. They started as steel-BELTED radials. But somewhere before dawn, we could see tiny sparks coming off the tires. Sure enough, down to the steel belts. (I didn't ask if the driver had brought more tires for the trip home. Hope so!)

I registered for the Tire class like I usually do. A few minutes after signing up, I checked the entry list and was listed in plain old B Street. I updated my registration back to Tire, confirmed that I was there, but have been moved back to B Street on the entry list web page again. Is there something wrong with registering for Tire or is this just a system issue?

Tire class if for the race tire based classes, Street Prepared, Street Mod, Mod and Prepared that run on street tires. B-Street is already a street tire based class, so you can not run it in tire class.

Another great, tiring, exhilarating, 24hr (or close) is in the books. I want to thank Cyndi, Licursi, A.J. Duckles et al for their hardwork and dedication to the club and to the sport. A lot of new people with big smiles on their faces. Also a big thanks to Cassino, Licursi, Sam, and everyone else who coached me or lit a fire under my a$$ to to better my times and not settle. Cassino, on my morning ride with the dog this morning I found a Volvo station wagon for sale. My next ride. I want one of the "twins". That thing is so cool even on Prius tires (thanks Chris) but mama said no more cars for two years. yeah right! Thanks everyone, I'm ready to do it again. P.S. Cassino the heater in the tub does work. I have a smarta$$ answer that I'll save for later.

Thanks for another awesome 24 hour event CCR! I wish I could've stayed around for all 24, but we had to leave early to pick up our kids from my wife's parents' house. I hope to be able to stick around longer next year.
Anyway, here is a video of my best run (43.492). I over-drove the 4-cone walls leading up to the last sweeper, but overall, this run felt pretty dang good.
Lastly, I must humbly admit that I am no longer spin free in 2014 (arrrggghhh!). This was my last run of the event and I was giving it everything I had. Unfortunately, I got too aggressive on the exit of the final sweeper and around I went. That is what happens when you stab the throttle before you start unwinding the wheel. I'm going to blame my poor execution on a lack of sleep and on Bret Shillock photo-bombing my video....Ha!
See everyone in September!

Anyone find a green sprayer bottle by chance? Yes, but my wife is holding it hostage. She says it's better than her weed sprayer. PM me and we can work something out.

I want to say a big thanks to everyone for coming out to the 24 hour event... Sorry it had to be cut down to 20 hours but for the safety of our equipment, lack of workers and one crazy driver remaining, that is what had to be done. We had already had someone hit one timing light that needs to be repaired and one the replacement that was almost hit... With a hillclimb in 2 weeks and an autocross the weekend after we have to have to have a working set of lights.

And bill graves for the ride along in his 66 corvette I think about 15 people drove the FiST by my count. But who knows, I wasn't even sure who was in it a couple of times. As long as the car was still there at the end of the day, I'm good. Hope everybody who tried it enjoyed it. I had a great time and want to thank everybody for their efforts. The 24 takes a lot of effort, and it went crazy smooth. I don't even remember any timing issues.

I remember a timing issue, when the Miata straight lined the light and turned it into firewood and recycled plastic.
