Sorry can't commit yet. If I do make it I'll probably just shag cones.

If you are semi familiar with timing we could use you during the less busy times. Where you pretty much just monitor the system and make sure timing is running properly. We get very few official runs declared from say midnight to 6am. Those are the best hours to run though

First 12. Just to keep things interesting for Jake in AS. I want to run the Subaru with my STX playmates in Atlanta on Sunday.
Are we going to have a single gate where we can catch people coming in or are we going to walk around with the waiver sheets.

Willing to double (or triple, quadruple, quintuple, whatever) up on work assignments if need be, given the shortage of people.

Willing to double (or triple, quadruple, quintuple, whatever) up on work assignments if need be, given the shortage of people. We are not wanting any core people to have to do any more then needed .... we deserve to drive as much as anyone else.... we know we might have to do some more... you will already have to do multiple safety shifts so thats enough... I'm sure we will make it... just cross your fingers we are at 50+ now

OK I'm in (I know late as usual) where do you need me? I can use someone checking workers in from Friday at 11 PM to Saturday at 7 AM and timing shifts if you are up to it.

I can use someone checking workers in from Friday at 11 PM to Saturday at 7 AM and timing shifts if you are up to it. I assume I can sneak some napping in between worker check in? I am thinking we may need to do 3 hours of work for every 12 hours you participate, with each person working 2 - 1 1/2 hour shifts. So I think we can have someone take 1 of the check in shifts giving you a 3 hour nap. I can be there by 4:30 or 5, so I'll be glad to help with setting up if you'd like. I am good on set-up. And with the amount of drivers we will have, it may be difficult to give credit for another set-up work shift.

I'm still planning to arrive for setup (putting down cones, sweeping rocks/metal, unloading trailer, etc), but I definitely planned to pick up additional shifts either shagging cones, running grid, learning timing, or whatever. I definitely don't care to run for 9 hours straight, so it's no big deal to work extra shifts. As I mentioned before, my wife will be hanging out with me once the event starts at 9:00 and she is more than happy to work whenever I work. She'd rather do that than hang out by herself while I work, so it's no problem at all. I think the two 1.5 hour shifts is a good idea and I'm happy to do more.

Joe if you wanna learn timing that would be great.. Erin to.... That way if you do convince her to drive she can be familiar... She can even sit with me when I do reg if she wants.

If you all are still looking for workers to do timing during the second 12 hours, I'd be happy to learn and help out. If cone workers are needed more, I'm perfectly fine with doing that as well. Cheers! Aaron

Insert expletives here. I went to start the car last night and it died immediately. I spent 6+ hours on it last night and got it to run, but very poorly. This morning I was going to mess with it some more but lost a pintile cap down the intake manifold where I can't get to it. I don't have time to try to pull the manifold to retrieve it so the car won't make it. If anyone is willing to have a codriver I would appreciate it, and can offer food, drinks, etc. Thanks.
