After many years trying to pry the NCAC Club Cup from the well driven hands of the Triad Sports Car Club, they have now passed ownership on to CCR.
With the help of "THE BOSS" driven by Marske and Jadrice leading the way, along with Kuhn, Taylor Carr and "Big Daddy" Tim White, CCR has some new hardware to play with.
So with the Club Cup in our hands, I would like to start a new tradition. Like the NHL Stanley Cup, I would like to give CCR members some time with the Club Cup. And when you have the cup, be creative, do something with it, and take some pictures of what you did with the cup.
And be funny!
You might ask, who will get to play with it, and I say anyone that set a top 10 time for CCR in the NCAC or anyone who ran for CCR at the NCAC and is eligible for a season ending trophy. Even if you are not one of the fastest people in the club, don't feel like you have not contributed to our success. Being someone that shows up regularly and supports our zMax events with participation, you are one of the reasons other have gotten as fast as they have. Without the regular 150+ drivers we get at our events, the faster drivers can't get fast. So this is truly everyones trophy.
Now let's go have some fun with it.
