Anyone have a car I could drive in Pro class. I joined Pro for two reason: to compete against the best in our region and to be able to car-hop while still retaining points. Something I've not taken advantage of at all. So I might as well try it for the last event of the season. As I usually drive FWD I'd love to get into a RWD or AWD car again, though I'm not terribly picky. Just want to drive something else and try to remember to have fun instead of getting frustrated at my lack-luster performance.

Also looking for a co-drive... Would love to do this event if possible. Would be glad to cop for your entry.
I've driven about anything. I'm not slow but not always a top contender either. Good with car set up if you need help and easy on equipment. Let me know!

Still looking for a co-drive. I'll have the 3 prepped in the event I can't find one (and because I'm going to the Dragon the following day), but I'd really like to drive something else for a change.

Not a problem Andrew. CCR has an excellent novice program to help new folks. Check the schedule for Novice walks and ask to have an instructor with you.

With our novice program... you get an extra run and get an instructor with you... so there is always someone willing to help you out.... and ask to ride with people... most will take you for ride alongs

Thanks for all the feedback. I am happy to know that there will be people to help out. I am excited to get involved and get a chance to have some fun with my car. I guess it would be good to get there early and take advantage of the experience.

Absolutely this ".... and ask to ride with people....".
Try to inflate your tires to about 40 lbs or so (assuming your in a daily driver) before you arrive or find someone with an air compressor.
Many of us have portable air tanks and could share a couple of pounds; few if any could spare 8-10 lbs x 4 wheels though.

Hi, I am new to autox and was hoping to drive this event. Anyone local to Charlotte and willing to spend some time with a noob? Hi Andrew, Make sure you arrive early, there's a lot to get done before the event. Register, numbers, tires, tech, and preferably a couple course walks. Track me down when you get there I'll be in a black S2000 running number 73 (there are usually a few of them). I'd be happy to help. Jason

Loaner helmets are available to use if needed. And I'm sure they get "deloused" after each event.

I need to run more courses like that. Ignoring mistakes, I was picking up at least one second per run, which means I still wasn't going anywhere near as fast as the car was capable of going.

That event was a lot of fun! It went extremely smooth and the weather was great, couldn't ask for much more. Here's my fastest run of the day, it was a 76.0xx:
It's insane how much faster guys with r-comps can go on zMax's lot, I figure I'm not the first to notice that though lol. I suppose I should move to CSP, but I don't know if I want to take the plunge on that one just yet.
Thanks to everyone who made the event happen!
