Yeah z max does not favor street tires at all. There's always a clear advantage to the race tire guys. You honestly probably would pax better with even small Hoosiers in CSP just for zmax.

Maybe I've never driven on asphalt with really high grip levels, but zMax seems to have at least average grip level for my car on Dunlop ZII's. I see peak lateral acceleration over 1.1g. I suspect it's not that it doesn't favor street tires, but that it's more favorable for r-comps than for street tires.

A few months ago I drove my car in CS then jumped in Zimmer's car for Seat Time Only. I felt like I got everything out of my car.... then I drove the Rabbit poorly.... felt like I left a ton of time out there... and still would have needed to be nearly 5 seconds faster in my car to PAX the same. Prep levels notwithstanding, ZMax DEFINITELY favors R-Comps.

What an awesome event! Thanks so much to Mike for the co-drive and all the CCR core people for putting on a great event.
Looking forward to next year!

That's the best idea ever! I think I can shove some 275s under my stock fenders, I've got some extra 15x9s to mount them on as well. I do, however, HATE trailering tires to events lol. My MPG drops to 22-24 when I'm towing my tire-trailer.
