Found a very interesting Google Maps photo of Dixie Fair grounds. It was the site of Forsythe County Speedway and hosted a few grand national races in the 1950's. The red outline is the original track and traces of it can still be found with in the fence. So not only a place to autocross but a place to do some on a site that has a history linked to the early days of stock car racing Click on image to enlarge.

Yup and if you look to the left in the Coliseum lot you can see traces of a recent autocross.

I might have captioned that a little more clearly. I've run there twice and liked it. It's just another example of what you never know might have been built on the site of an old ghost track. I've got friends who research these old sites as a hobby. Good eye there Steve! you can see it!
