wow … gunna be some driving for me …first 2 events … Sat w/ccr and Sun w/etr … both weekends
question … May30/31 … novice and intermediate school … Metrolina … what happened to the CMP event ? and you realized that April 11/12 is the same weekend as that SE-Div event at Smoky stadium Knoxville ?
and just for s/g's the Sept 19/20 is the same as LeMons at CMP … don't know if any of these dates are negotiable or not

Looks like great fun, is there not going to be a CMP event in May this year? The quick slalom fest is my favorite event all year,.. I am heartbroken.

There is not going to be a CMP autocross this year. They are going to do a full track PDX/Time Trial thing. More details will come one what exactly they will be doing closer to the date.

Is the Carolina tour the NCAC championship event this year ? No it is just a 2 day event...the NCAC is being hosted by Tarheel this year.... so it'll be the date and site of their choosing

So...would the PDX/Time Trial be on May 25th - Memorial Day ? Or do you know yet ? Might be fun to try that... don't need much more (as far as the car goes) to be to be able to do that - and some paperwork, of course.

CCR Solo Schedule is complete with 7 zMax dates and 4 Black Lake dates.
Also, It is probable that the Tarheel run N-CAC will be at zMax on October 3rd / 4th.
Get ready for another great year of Carolina Autocross. See you at zMax.

How will the two-day points events be scored for CCR points? Best time either day, combined two-day, best time Saturday, best time Sunday, or ...?

has CCR made any decision (have I missed it ?) about 140 TW tires … RS-3's UA … R1R's UA … my only choice seems to SS's or wait 'til later in the spring due to my track time and other region a-x's … I'll have a lot of missed opportunities .. can make the first event (again 140 TW … so basically a throw away event) then April 25 seems to be the next one I can get to

N-CAC is likely to be at zMax on October 3rd /4th.
CCR's tire policy is whatever the SCCA rule book says, and whatever your competition cares about.

Walter Jones, I am guessing that if you don't beat your competition too bad, they probably won't care 140 or 200 tw....aren't most 200tw just rebadged 140's anyway? I don't really know, as I am on RComps.

Walter, just talk to your competition. "140"TW tires from last year with a good number of heat cycles on them aren't going to be any faster than newer "200"TW tires. Most are still the same compound just with different numbers on the side.

I can't say for certain that last years 140tw tires are just relabeled 200tw for 2015. But I would be shocked if they were actually different.

Most are still the same compound just with different numbers on the side. that's not the point …unless a local region gives a waiver, the tires aren't legal in any street tire class as for rebadged 140's … the first "compliant" 200 TW tires were probably just rebadged .. but the V2 tires (RS3's and SS's) seem to have had some changes … rumor has it that the Toyo is the same …other rumors say some changes … but without a formal waiver from the local region the 140 badged tires aren't legal … so until tires are available it looks like I'll be skipping events ( the only ones currently avail. are the Dunlop Star Specs )

Walter you're STS? I have no problem with you running 140 TW. So you beat me by 4sec. instead of 3? Running Pro, Nats, Match, or even NCAC, yes there would be questions. But for local having fun and $5 trophy, who cares. Even if I was close to your skill level I wouldn't bitch about at a local event. C'mon out and play. And if you win and get protested I'll give my beer glass.
